The Department of Sociology refreshed the look of their graduation materials for the 2018 Graduation. The Sociology team met to discuss direction, look, and needs for this project. Once some input was received, the Undergraduate Advisor worked closely with myself to tailor printed and digital materials to fit two events; Graduation and the Honors Symposium. The Department decided that all materials should have a similar look and consistency even if the events were held on separate days. An additional challenge was the need for a non-designer to edit the powerpoint with constantly changing information. I was able to create background templates and a style guide for our Undergraduate advisor to follow creating a cohesive look between the printed and digital materials needed for these events. Students, Staff, and Faculty were pleased with the changes.
