The Department of Afroamerican and African Studies requested an updated graduation brochure for their 2018 Graduation event. I wanted to create something unique for DAAS that still included the University of Michigan Brand. I took inspiration from the custom sashes DAAS hands out every year (photo below for reference). I selected Futura to add some more uniqueness to this piece instead of a more uniform sans serif.
